Our school year is considered year round. The summer months of July and August incorporate fun summer themes into the already embedded curriculum. Teachers continue building upon skills that have been taught throughout the year while preparing students for transitioning into the next grade level in September.
Multi-sensory activities (indoors and out) provide endless opportunities for children to discover, create, and learn while the weather is warm. Thematic units such as transportation, ocean, safari animals, and the solar system are a few of the summertime favorites. Outdoor picnics and special thematic days give this time of year the feeling of warmth, friendship, and fun.
Our shaded play structures, swings, and sandbox provide the opportunity for children to play outdoors while being protected from the summer sun.
We are happy to provide a consistent routine for our families that need and desire support and stability within a safe, nurturing, and familiar environment.
